Jim Vanderbilt

Jim began his financial services career in 1987 as a financial consultant in the banking industry where he worked with Ron Harczak. He worked his way up to a senior financial advisor position and helped develop a training program for new advisors. In 1995, Jim left banking to begin and build a successful independent financial advisory business.

In 1997 he became a Certified Financial Planner® and a Certified Kingdom Advisor in 2013.Jim excels at helping people identify goals, guiding them to establish, maintain and adjust investment strategies to meet those goals. Jim is intentional about getting beyond the numbers to the heart behind the goals and is passionate about aligning personal faith value and investments.

Jim and his wife Kirsten were married in 1995 and have 2 sons and 2 daughters. They live in South Elgin and enjoy summer weekends at Gun Lake in Michigan. Jim also enjoys working around the house, classic cars, sports (especially hockey), traveling, and staying active with family.
